The graphic on this item is deceptive. It shows a black cartridge but you only get the 3 color ones. You need to order black speratly. I found that out the hard way!

Epson makes fantastic printing products. Here is the problem there is still lots$$$ of ink left in the cartridge when the printer tells you to change cartridge. After hearing this I cracked open about 10 C82 cartridges I have saved and was shocked to see that they all had ink left, and the worst of them were still 4/5 full (about 4 out of the 10). Here is what I suggest. Weigh a new cartridge on a postal scale; weigh one that you know to be empty. If the printer wont let you continue using a cartridge that you suspect still has quite a bit if ink left, get the weight and send it to epson and demand a prorated reimbursement.

I’ve tried many so-called suitable substitutes “guaranteed” to be as good as Epson. What a frustration to be working late at night, run out of ink and find that my suitable substitute streaks, skips and/or just doesn’t work. The guarantee doesn’t do me any good at 2 a.m. as I fiddle with it to try to get a readable product out of my printer!

Pros: It looks pretty, finally a piece of home networking equipment that is nice to look at.

Cons: If you use skype, or play online games, or anything else that can’t be buffered expect to get disconnected at least every 2 hours. Belkin support will tell you to make changes to your computers when you can just go back to old hardware.

Summary: This is a good looking piece of equipment that doesn’t work. Being in constant communication from home to family and friends is just as important as streaming audio and onine games. But, this router doesn’t deliver. We get disconnected frequently from these services and though we can typically log back in, it’s fustrating and annoying. Belkin Support has requested that i make changes to the computers on my network instaead of making changes to the router itself when I can just replace the router and all the problems go away. Unless you like trying to fix other peoples mistakes this router isn’t for a consumer that wants reliable performance.

4 Stars Easy setup, useful display, very good range and speed (ver. 2000, not 1000). See fix for disconnect every 2 hours.
I suspect most of the people with issues or complaints have version 1000 and / or old firmware.

Additionally one needs to use this in conjunction with 802.11n wireless adapters (preferably Draft 2.0 for future upgradability / compatibility) in order to obtain the maximum benefit out of the router, at least from a wireless performance perspective.

I recently purchased version 2000 of the N1 Vision (check the sticker on the bottom of the box). I have it mated with two PC’s with 802.11n Draft 2.0 (2T2R – 2 Transmit 2 Receive) wireless USB adapters (each with just an internal, but high quality, antenna).

I was up and running in no time.

I also had no problems using VPN to connect to my office network.

I am using WPA2 with AES encryption.

For extra security I have it set up with (broadcast SSID set to ‘off’ and have specifically only allowed my two wireless adapters by entering their MAC addresses in the ‘MAC address control’ of the router’s setup utility).

Upstairs (one room away from the N1 Vision I get 95 – 100% signal quality and 90+ signal strength with a pretty consistent connection speed of 270 Mbps! (not the full 300 maximum but certainly close enough for me).

Downstairs (one floor down and all the way on the other side of the house relative to the router), I get something like 45 – 75% signal strength depending where I am in the room. The speed varies between 45 Mbps, at worst (will have to verify this tonight as I only used it one night and believe this minimum can be improved upon), to a more typical 170 or 210 Mbps (wide range, I know, but I only tested it one night and haven’t tweaked settings or placement yet via the flexible silver mini extension cable).

The display is useful in that you can see who connected to your network in the past 24 hours (if an unexpected visitor enters your wireless network, at least you will have a way of knowing it).

I am pleased with the Vision N1’s speed, range and overall performance, other than the disconnect issue for which there is an easy enough workaround until they fix it permanently, hopefully, via a firmware upgrade for the 2000 model).

Keep in mind my testing was done using Draft 2.0 802.11n wireless USB adapters. Wireless G adapters won’t have the same performance or even close to it.

The one thing to note is that there is a known issue where some of the ‘version 1000′ units of the N1 Vision disconnect every two hours (wireless or all around). This occurs when the router software connects to the time server to get the time (check the router setup page’s security log and you can see the entries every two hours).

There is a firmware fix for this, but the N1 Vision 1000 hardware has other issues (reported overheating etc.).

I gave it 4 stars due to the issue with it disconnecting every 2 hours and the fact that version 2000 does NOT have a firmware fix for this, even though the older version does.

This should have been caught during pre-release testing. If not, at worst, a firmware fix should have been created for version 2000 very early on.

2 Stars Not good for more than one wirless device….
First, I am an IT professional of over 25 years. I can honestly say that this is the first bad Belkin Router I have come across. There are always bad ‘apples’ in a box, and you should not let that spoil the rest. But this router is just on the lowest end of the scale.

AS A ROUTER (WIRED)

I can give this product as a wired router 5 stars. Ease of use, setup, security, and speed. All top rate on the product I purchased.

The problems come when you are 1… not using it just on wired connections, and 2, when you have multiple computers trying to connect to it.

AS A WIRELESS ROUTER

I can only give this router 1 star for wireless use. I can see for some people, if they are only using 1 wireless device/computer, and there are not many other routers in the area, it will work very well for them. I am sure as I have read all the reviews here, most without complaint.

The problems come along when you have more than one wireless device.

Even with PROTECTED mode switched on, one, or all devices, will very soon start to drop in speed, possible even lose connection to the router.

Even upon reconnecting automatically back to the router, the device will not get a totally successful connection. The wireless device will need to be disabled and re-enabled, or the computer restarted.

As an IT professional, it took me a good 2 hours of constantly adjusting many of the parameters, and channels that the router was broadcasting on, to get a setting that worked ‘almost’ satisfactory on 2 out of the 4 laptops I have trying to connect wirelessly. I have had to resort to only 2 laptops connecting wirelessly at a time. The correct channel on the router was the key. The one laptop that runs on 802.11g varies in speed from 36.0Mbps to 54.0Mbps. The 802.11n wireless laptop runs anywhere from 56.0Mbps to 144.0Mbps.

Belkin claims speeds of up to 300Mbps. This must be when using only Belkin N1 products at both ends. With my 802.11n laptop 2 inches from the router, the maximum speed acheived was 144.0Mbps. Maybe if you switch of all security you can get closer to 300Mbps.

VPN CONNECTION

I use a standard MS VPN connection to the office, and it seems to work fine. Using MS Outlook and Exchange, most of the time, it works without fault. There are times where MS Outlook cannot see of authenticate to the Exchange server, even though you can ping the server and see it outside of MS Outlook. This is NO FAULT of the Belkin N1 wireless router. After much research from myself and my colleagues in the office, we have to turn our attention to the internet providers and VPN connections. If you research the internet on your internet provider (one of the largers ones that also provides cable TV) VPN connections, and bandwidth limitation. You will find a number of articles where the internet provider is limiting connections when they see VPN bandwidth usage. The only way around this is to pay for a business connection, with a guaranteed high bandwidth. So, sometimes it may work, sometimes it may not. The best thing to do is when it’s not working, reset your cable modem, release the IP and renew to another, and try again.

OTHER FEATURES

The other features on the router seem to be very useful. The gigabit connection for wired devices, and statistical display. The display very useful for those times when you need to gauge whether or not you are getting your full bandwidth up, and down.

OVERALL

If you are looking for a good wireless router, do NOT bother with the N1 Vision. If you want a router that sort of works, and looks pretty, with a few bells and whistles, then it is a good router for you.

5 Stars Kinks Apparently Worked Out – Excellent, Fast, Beautiful, Highly Functional
I’m sorely tempted to call all of the earlier reviewers who slammed this router cry babies – or worse. My experience with this was 97% positive. But I understand that people bought these at various times from various places, and may have early versions of the hardware or firmware. That’s all I can think of to reconcile my experience with theirs. This is an awesome product, which I heartily endorse.

I got the newer version of the hardware (v2000) and it came with the latest firmware (2.00.03). Before you buy this, ask your retailer to confirm that they’ll send you v2000 hardware (or later) and not v1000, which most of the complainers likely have. You can download and install the latest firmware yourself if it’s not running the latest when you get it.

It was the easiest setup ever (I have Vista Home Premium) – I plugged it in, followed the 3 minute super simple instructions and voila! It is super fast, easily configurable; the LCD gives you lots of information, and allows you to change various settings with the pushbutton (including disabling/enabling the wireless aspect – no reason to have it broadcasting to all corners of my property when I’m sitting 5 feet from the router connected using Gigabit ethernet cable, or when I’m on vacation, etc.)

Speaking of the pushbutton . . . unless they have changed it to make it much better, it is just ridiculous to complain about how hard you have to push it. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being super easy to push, 10 being super hard, it’s a 5 or a 6. It’s not even close to being a problem.

Another complaint I found when I googled for reviews about this was that it ran hot. It doesn’t. At least mine doesn’t. It’s just slightly warm to the touch (compared to my Netgear Gigabit Switch, GS605, which could fry an egg).

The only problem I had was, with one of our laptops, it dropped the wireless connection every 35 seconds – over and over again – after I set the security to WPA-2. The solution was to set channel mode at 20MHz rather than 20MHz + 40MHz. It didn’t affect the speed at all, but cured the disconnecting problem immediately. The other laptops I tried with it had no problems whatsoever.

I bought this and then sort of held my breath while making sure I set it up within the return period (I sometimes let things sit around a couple of weeks until I have a lot of time), since there were so many horrible reviews. I’m SO glad I bought this. No regrets. It’s a beautiful piece of technology – near perfect, to me.

Bought this router thinking it was advanced technology. This things is advanced garbage. The buttons have to be pushed with force to work. As far as the connection, our two computers constantly dropped connection or could not connect at all. Only after disabling the network security could we maintain a stable connection, and the transfer rate then was extremely slow. This router was a total waste of money. 5 Stars good, inexpensive weather radio
This isn’t the fanciest weather radio in the world, but it is inexpensive and very portable. There is sometimes some static on the broadcast, but I’m pretty sure that is coming from the broadcast itself and not being caused by the radio, since my last weather radio sounded about the same. There are a couple things to keep in mind about the “alert” feature, if you are buying it for that.

1) It will drain your batteries while it is in the alert mode, and you won’t know when you run out – so if you’re looking for one to be constantly on alert mode in your home, you should look for one of the ones that plugs into the wall.

2) It isn’t limited by location or type of alert, just if there is any alert being broadcast by the station it is picking up, it will go off – for instance once it gave me an alert for thunderstorms in a city 50 miles from here.

However, for my purposes this radio is perfect – I leave it completely off most of the time, but when I hear the severe weather sirens go off outside or there are really strong winds blowing things around, I turn it on and listen to the broadcast. Then if it’s bad and I have to seek shelter I can carry the radio with me and know when it is safe to come out.

5 Stars Wouldn’t travel without it!
We ordered this radio prior to our six week road trip from California to Georgia and back this late spring. We not only used it in the truck when there were no radio station signals to warn of impending weather, but also in our travel trailer at night. More than once we were alerted to a tornado warning (Texas & Louisiana) and severe weather warning (Georgia). It saved us from damage when we were alerted to a severe hailstorm and high wind warning one afternoon and got our awning down just in time, others were not as lucky. Great product!

I had high hopes for this based on other reviews. I was looking for a small weather alert radio for camping with the Boy Scouts so we could be alerted to thunderstorms. Out of the package, this radio did not work….if you jiggled the power switch enough, you might hear NOAA broadcasts for a couple of minutes, then it would die again. The alert function never worked with a severe storm aproaching.

2 Stars Ok, but not a great value
There are only 3 plastic sheets that come in this package. When I cut it to fit my camera’s 2.5″ screen, I can see that I’ll only be able to get 3 screen protectors per sheet. Also, the two of the edges are slightly wrinkly, so the edge didn’t lay completely flat. I guess you can remedy this by cutting all 4 sides of your screen protector, instead of taking the shortcut by using an existing side. But unlike others, I do like the squeegee it came with because it is wrapped in a felt cloth so it didn’t scratch when I used it. Maybe they’ve made an improvement in the product recently? It’s a bit expensive because the shipping is $7.95 – more than twice what you pay for the product itself. In the end, it does what I need it to do.

I’ve used these on my Canon A590 2.5″ LCD. There are 3 sheets in the package along with wet and dry cleaning wipes.

They must be cut to fit. You can get up to 4 per sheet if your screen is 2.2″ (diagonal) or less, 2 per sheet up to 2.4″ and 1 per sheet up to 4.5″.

Easy to apply and use and no awful color patterns as I’ve seen in some others. 1 Star Not such a good idea
Two days ago, it came off my dashboard… eventhough I installed it using the “permanent” tape that it comes with, the heat of the summer was enough and the glue wiped off clean. From the begining, I would have to be re-adjusting the angle of the Street Pilot because with the bumps it would go down; this never happened with the original suction cup that I had to re-cycle. So in general… not such a good idea.

5 Stars Great Dash Mount for Garmin Nuvi 760!
I had the Garmin Street Pilot 2610 which was stolen and now replaced by Garmin Nuvi 760. The old GPS had the permanent dash mount which is still on my dash. The base is exactly the same as this item except without the “arm”. The “arm” fits perfectly in the old base and my new GPS fits on it perfectly without having to fear the unit may fall off of the suction device since I had the permanent mount for >2 years now.

I had the beanbag for the old GPS before, one day I stepped on the gas hard and the gps landed on the shifter and broke the screen. That’s why I decided to mount it permanently.

1 Star Not too Durable
I used the beanbag mount for the Garmin iQue product. When I purchased the C550, I tried the suction cup mount but I could never get it to stick to the windshield for more than a few days. I purchased the Garmin Dashboard mount and it lasted three weeks, or until the first really hot day. The car is kept garaged during the day and at night so it was only one day of heavy sunshine needed to separate the base from the dashboard. I wound up with the C550 in my lap at 60 mph.

I can’t recommend this product to anyone due to safety concerns. If the glue had separated during a tight turn, it could have resulted in an accident.

For now, I’m going back to the beanbag mount but I’ll give careful consideration to a factory-installed GPS in my next car.

After checking prices for replacement toner on our work MFC, on a whim I thought I’d check Amazon, and was very happily surprised to find the same cartridge for $20 less than any other seller!

Fast, free shipping, Amazon customer service, and C. MACPHAIL’s masking tape trick is icing on the cake.

As for quality, it’s genuine Brother TN-350. Others who have said it’s not are most likely just confused.

I got this charger to support our new digital cameras.

The charger I have has both an AC and a DC power cord, so you can charge while in your car, if you need to. It charges both 2200 and 2500 mHr Ni-MH batteries. The package I got had the charger, a set of batteries, and the power adapters. The model is CH15MN. It works very fast and it makes a little noise, with the fan going. It is very useful while at home and traveling.

My first one began malfunctioning on vacation, blinking red and not recharging. I bought a second one. The second time I went to use it, the same thing happened – it just blinks red regardless of the batteries used or whether it’s plugged into the wall or the car lighter.

Yep, the batteries charge in 15 minutes. Yippy skippy. However, even from the very beginning, the batteries that came with the charger will not hold their charge for more than 3 days – without even using them at all!

I bought this charger and the 4 batteries it comes with for my Sony digital camera. Even though it charges batteries in only 15 minutes, I often charge the batteries for my camera in the evening and place them inside the camera so it is ready for the next day. Sometimes I check and it shows a full charge. By the next morning, however, if I turn the camera on it shows that the batteries only have half their charge. They seem to provide less performance (in terms of number of photos I can take) than alkaline batteries, and have minimal standby time after charging.

I think the incredible speed of charging and the high heat generated during the fast charge from this charger ruins the batteries so that they do not hold a charge for as long as they are supposed to. This ends up being an inconvenience for me. I am disappointed and will be looking for another charger. For me, having my camera batteries last for at least a week on standby is more important than having the batteries charge in just a few minutes.

This charger is fast and it does charge all batteries i have, including Sony, Panasonic and Duracell. It may have problem charging some old Nimb batteries where it red leds flashes but you can manually discharge those batteries until the empty (use them in any high drain devices) and try again. 3/4 worked for me.

I tried 10 different AA batteries on this device, including the batteries that came with the package (two AAA and two AA batteries).

This device only charged one AA battery, and didn’t even charge the two AA batteries that came with the package. It charged the AAA batteries which came with the package, however.

Neat idea. Poor quality. I’m returning this item.

The provided software doesn’t function at all (UI elements are not manipulatable, no networks show up). Which incidentally means you can’t tell it to release control so WZC can configure it; and even if you do sneaky things like kill the Belkin software and make WZC try, I get no love — no matter what, Windows doesn’t acknlowedge that there’s a potential connection.

3 Stars First day experience
I moved into a new place with thicker walls/more space, so my trusty Wireless B router was finally not good enough. I read a little on MIMO and N and decided on this adapter and the parent router (matching, how cute).

The router works wonderfully, but the adapter gave me a lot of problems in the initial hours. From conking out on one USB port (worked fine at first then no more lights) to just dropping and coming back, I am not sure how happy I’m going to be in the end. That said I have been using it for a few hours now without a problem, so maybe the hiccups were just me. I have not yet experienced the USB conflicts I have read in other reviews.

The support software, however, is slapped-together. The whole screen doesn’t provide you with a lot of info, I feel like it’s very unresponsive, and doesn’t troubleshoot the way you would hope it would. For example, the adapter’s lights stopped blinking. The software told me it was the router, and to go restart it. But the router was fine. The problem was the adapter needed to be unplugged/replugged, but the software didn’t know that. And on top of it all it has an ugly system tray icon (it’s a very picky annoyance, but it nags at me nevertheless). I hear you can use the device without the software. I’d recommend that.

SO, wrapping up, I am not a fan just yet, but a few more days of flawless service and I’d bump my review up to a 4.

2 Stars Not any better than the wireless g
I have a Belkin pre-N router and pre-N wireless cards in our desktop PCs. We have one laptop with a wireless g USB adaptor. Replaced the g with the N1 – no difference in performance. Bummer.

3 Stars Strong performance w/ Intermittent Operation
I have used the desktop card and the USB adapter for the Belkin N1 wireless router. Both items perform well while connected but my desktop card stopped working after ~2 yrs (I replaced it with the USB adapter thinking it would be more versatile).

I have one major issue with this product: it stops working when left unattended for a short amount of time. This means, almost without fail, that if I walk out of my office for 1 hour or more and then return later the blue connectivity light will either be on constantly (no flicker denoting connection or data transfer) or completely off.

The only remedy is to unplug the adapter, wait for windows to recognize it with an audible sound, then re-plug the adapter in, wait for it to be recognized and for the networking software to re-establish a connection. I’m not an avid user of my external connectivity so this isn’t a serious problem but is a major annoyance. If you are looking for a consistent connection to the internet or your home network, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Unlike the Yellow Cartridges, the Black, Magenta, & Cyan are longlasting and of most high quality. When using the proper paper, the quality is just as good as any of the so-called ink jet photo printers. Caution: Photo Paper for ink jet printers is a disaster waiting to happen in a laser jet: the heat will gum up the works. Instead find a hard surface ultra white paper and photo print away and save big bucks on the cost of ink jet cartridges.

The Yellow cartridges are a low capacity horror: I have used three Yellows to one each of the other three colors. HP recognizes this as the Yellow is priced higher than the other cartridges. Sigh!!!

I bought a few of these to use in various devices, such as my Wii, Kindle, camera, etc. While I wouldn’t use them in my high-end cameras, due to speed and performance, they work perfectly in normal devices. It’s hard to beat them at this price.

4 Stars happy and impressed with this printer
My Cannon Pixma MP780 finally gave out after five or six years of good use. I didn’t need all the features on the MX850 but it looked like the next generation MP780 so I decided to purchase it.

I believe this printer will give me many years of reliable performance. The reason I say this is that my old Cannon Pixma MP780 is literally in three major pieces now. I disassembled this earlier generation Cannon to see how well it was put together and I was impressed with the internal workmanship of this line of printers possess. I believe the MX850 has this quality of workmanship and it also.

I was also pleasantly surprise at how fast the new printer prints.

I’m hoping that the new printer will allow me to refill its inks cartridges without getting an error message. I was able to do this on the

Cannon Pixma MP780 fairly easily and it saved me a lot of money life for the printer. These printer cartridges appear to be the same size but they have a chip which concerns me a bit.

The only reason I did not give this printer a five star rating is because my lack of experience with it. I believe five years from now I’ll be a link of this printer 10 star rating if that were possible.

4 Stars Awesome, but one piece of info they don’t tell you…
I love this printer/fax/copier/scanner. Everything functions wonderfully and easily… when it functions! You MUST keep a few extra ink cartridges on hand, because NOTHING will work when one cartridge is empty. Crazy because it requires 2 black ink cartridges – and if one runs out, better have another on hand if you want it to keep printing.

Oh – and when I say nothing works, I mean NOTHING. You can’t even SCAN a picture to your PC/Laptop. WHO designed that? So the first time I ran out of ink, I learned the hard way when I went to scan in an old pic.

Like I said, I do love it when it is functioning, just make sure you keep plenty of extra ink on hand!

The book which comes with the product stinks. (This is in part because I am dumb when it comes to this type of product.) The serial # which is required when you register the product is “hidden” deep within the “guts” of the product. I purchased this becauese of the Consumer Reports write up on it. I hope I will progress in my knowledge to use it and all of its functions.

They are great headphone, i would just like the cable to bew a little thicker, and they got to me exactly the day it said they were going to come

i bought this headphones for my everyday use, surprisingly it is really good for its price =D

pro:

- good price tag

- comfortable (for me) cause it has big ear pad

- stylish

- generally good for any kind of music

cons:

- i hate long cables

- cause it has big ear pad -> isolate less

- somehow you need crank up the volume

- it’s not really a cons though, but if you want more bass

go with hd202 (hd280 if you have the money)

overall it’s really good if you are looking for basic headphones =D

4 Stars A lot for a little
I never expected such great frequuency response from such a reasonably priced set of head phones. I love highs and low low frequencies. This set of phones deliver a highly satisfactory range of both.

5 Stars Neutral sounding headphone with very high potential.
This is really the best value headphone you can get. I am somewhat an audiophile and I have heard many high quality headphones, some 15times the price of this one, but the HD201 is the most impressive sounding headphone I’ve ever heard at it’s price range. It has good comfort and sound comfortable as well. Overall I rate the sound quality of this headphone much higher than it’s cost, if driven by proper equipments.

Physical design: It is a fullsize, closed circumaural headphone. Although the headband grip is not as tight as I wanted, it probably stay more comfortable that way. It is plastic so I wouldn’t recommend abusing it, but I have slept while wearing it more than once and being tossed around that way it’s still in tip top shape. The cable is pretty long and you can walk across the room with it. The earpads will cover your entire ears, it will block out some noise, but not too much to be used as a serious isolation headphones (ie. in-ear-monitors).

Sound: As a music enthuasist I really love the sound of this headphone. The great thing about Sennheiser sound signature is that they make the sound comes together, nothing jumps out at you, there isn’t one part of the sound spectrum that is unbalanced with the other. It’s not too warm and it’s not too bright, exactly how I like it to be, there is no sharpness that will hurt your ears. Which means if you want big bass, this isn’t it. I was expecting something more muffle sounding at this price range, people tend to dub Sennheiser brand as veiled sounding, but I don’t perceive any of that.

Cons: The only thing that the sound ideally lack is sometime it can be a bit dry and not fluidy, which tend to base on the source/music you are listening to. Some instruments might not have a full body/thicker sound. Single notes might note have a longer decay period/resonance as compared to more expensive phones. But in the end the headphone limited by it’s relatively small diaphragm size, you can’t ask for more at this price.

Finally, the sound is only going to be as good as the music, source, amplifier and cables you use with the headphone. The great thing about this headphone is it can potentially become very good sounding if you pair it with high quality equipments, such as a high quality soundcard/source and a headphone amplifier, then the bass become very tight, smoothout midrange and very precise trebles. Instruments can be very defined and seperated. Although if you are simply connecting it to a weak mp3 player or directly to a labtop headphone output, you might not get the most out of it as I’ve described.

5 Stars Bought them to save on shipping cost. Glad I did!
I bought another product on Amazon for $12 which was going to cost me over $8 to ship. I hate paying nearly as much to ship a product as I pay for the product itself, so I looked for something to bring my order up to $25, which of course means free shipping.

I found these Sennheiser HD201 Headphones and noticed they had great reviews. I don’t usually like to buy cheap headphones becuase I am never happy with them, but I needed a pair of headphones and I wanted to save on shipping so I took the chance.

I can’t tell you how glad I am that I bought these. They ended up being about $11 because I saved on shipping, and for $11, these things rock. They have great clarity and I don’t see why some people say they don’t have good bass, because the bass sounds just fine to me.

Do they match the quality of my more expensive ones? No, not really, but for the price (even if I had to pay full price), these things are more than worth the money.

I purchased this Cruzer micro for school and it is great. I had purchased a 2 gigabyte flash drive at a local store and the lid broke after I opened it. What I like about this is that it does not have a lid and it has its own little icon on the desktop. I received it no time from the seller.

I have had this device for about six months now, and i basically just use it to take files to and from school. Today it survived its ultimate test in my opinion. This little thing survived the washing machine and not only does it still work but all my information is still saved on it. Based on that fact alone i recommend this device to anyone.

Excellent quality USB Flash Drive. Protected connector with push-to-open & close action. USB connector retracts inside case when closed. No covers to lose or keep track of. Nice laynard; not too bulky. Cost effective purchase. High quality device. However…Sandisk provides no complimentary software for Apple (OS X or OS 9) only the usual MSDOS programs for PC-users. Not a big problem. Just delete everything on the USB Flash Drive (if it gets in your way) when you connect to your Apple. Too bad Sandisk can’t even provide the most basic complimentary software for Apple. It’s not necessary, but would have been nice. Still, I recommend this device due to its clever physical design (push-button opening and closing), and overall high quality build.

See the translucent part on the top of this flash drive? The white part in the picture? Okay, that part flashes bright orange when plugged into your laptop. By bright I mean “glaring in your eyes bright” and by flashing I mean “like a disco club”. So under Features where it says “Amber LED”, take that seriously.

Seriously, SanDisk, what were you thinking?

I picked this little guy up because he was inexpensive and I needed something to accelerate Vista. Having first taped over the strobing light to keep it from giving me a migraine, and thus rendering the retractable feature non-functional, I eventually gave up and threw this drive away altoghether.

If you want a little travel flash drive for quick in-and-out memory use I suppose I could recommend this one: it’s fast, reliable, small, easy, and light. However, as a ReadyBoost solution, as it’s marketed, absolutely not.

Purchased this card for my new Canon SD1100 IS. Card works fine and holds enough pictures for my satisfaction. The SD card that came with the camera was limited to a 32 MB capacity. Not many pictures. I noticed some customers reviewing this item were perturbed by the shipping charges. I paid $2.34 for the card and $5.95 for shipping. $8.29 ain’t bad. Kingston has made extremely good quality flash memory products now for a number of years, and this SD card is no exception. Very fast, great value, and it “just works” — as one would expect it to!
