SLR Tutorial with Nathan Attenborough – Episode 2: Shutter Speed

February 10, 2009 by Digital Slr Camera · Leave a Comment

This will be a 3 part series of tutorials produced by myself, helping you understand how to be more creative with your SLR camera instead of shooting in the automatic mode.

This week i’ll be talking about shutter speed and the effects it can have on your photographs, such as movement images.

Please note this tutorial was made very quickly, so when I say a long shutter speed I actually mean a slow shutter speed, meaning that the shutter is open for a longer period of time. I appologise about my incorrect use of terminology.

Next weeks final episode will be focusing on ISO and understanding how it works with aperture and shutter speed to produce some great shots.

If you have any questions dont hestitate to contact me on here or via my website at www.nattenborough.co.uk
