After many rumors, Nikon today made it official the D5000 is upon us. It features 12.3 megapixel DX-format sensor, one-button Live View, 2.7-inch display and 720/24p movie mode. Price is $849 with a 18-55 VR kit lens, or $729 for the body only. Wow, just a few hours ago, I was talking about the leaked picture of the D5000. Now, the news is out. D5000 is officially. With a Vari-Angle LCD, a 12.3 MegaPixels sensor, a D-Movie mode that can capture HD movie at 1280 X 720 at 24 frames per second.
