3 Stars Great performance with ReadyBoost, but the drive light leaves much to be desired
This is my first SanDisk drive after buying only Lexar for the longest time, but I couldn’t seem to find a good cheap Lexar drive after I bought a new Vista laptop to try out ReadyBoost with. This one happened to be nice and cheap, so I bought it and overall I’ve found it to work well with the feature and as a flash drive.
However, the two star demerit is for the bright orange activity light within the retractable case that just won’t stop shining. Yes, it’s there for activity and it’s reassuring that it’s on. But does it have to be so bright and large in the latch? It’s 1″x2″ of light that’s distracting on the side of a laptop, especially at night when you’re in your room and ready to fall asleep.
Thank goodness for electrical tape to minimize how the light shines. In the next version of this, SanDisk must move to a small LED to indicated activity, because as it is, the light is too bright and annoying to recommend this drive.
4 Stars I’m Pleased
I am happy with my purchase. This is the first drive I have owned or used with the u3. I don’t have a problem with it. It isn’t a must have for me yet but right now I like it. If I decide I don’t want it on the drive later then I can uninstall it. 8gb for this price can’t be beat. I would recomend this product to others.
5 Stars First Rate design
I purchased this because i’m a DJ and I’m always moving files from computer to computer………this product provides a fast and efficient way to do that…….i couldn’t be more happy.
5 Stars Great for the price
i, like any other intelligent person, do not use vista. i have no use for the U3 crap either, so ran the uninstall on the drive, and moved the 2 files left over to restore its U3 capabilities to a folder somewhere on my computer in case i did find a use for it later. Reformatted the drive so the application partition was gone, it all worked. i attribute the other problems people have been having to an inferior operating system, seeing as how these all worked for me. great drive, great price, works with ps3 in case anyone was interested. no pop-ups (just XP’s ‘new hardware found’ in the tray, unnavoidable/not intrusive) and no software installations (thank god). just plug and use. easy.
5 Stars Plenty of room for all my backup needs
I really like this 8GB Flash Drive because it has room to back up all the necessary data from my computer and my husband’s computer as well. (I removed the software that came on the drive.) I have 2 8GB flash drives. One stays at home and one in the bank box. I trade them out every month or so. That way we would have some sort of backup in case of a fire.

4 Stars Worth it…
Liked it so far. Worth having it, but a bit costly at the time of its buy.
5 Stars SanDisk 2 gb card
SanDisk 2 GB SD Memory Card ( SDSDB-2048-A11, Retail Package)I purchased this for my new Casio camera!! I already have a 1/gb! The price was alot lower for the 2/gb from Amazon than the 1/gb purchased at target at an earlier date!!! You may as well have more memory if you can, when purchasing a memory card!!! I recommend going to Amazon.com, first for accessories/electronics/etc, before going to a retail store!!!
5 Stars good buy
a good buy, reliable, cheap price, others sites have as much as 3X the price with same exact disk.
5 Stars Just what I needed
This SD card came in the mail on time and the packaging was in perfect condition. Totally worth it. I went to europe and I was able to hold over 500 8 mega pixel images on it and still had more room.
5 Stars Work as expected
Smooth transaction. Item received on time and I have been using it for a week with no problem.

5 Stars great deal on memory
I have never seen a product so good for so cheap? Great price, fast shipper!!!
5 Stars Ridiculously cheap. Fairly fast.
I own several of these cards, and they’re an incredible bargain. Whether it be taking video, or taking pictures, I’ve never had a problem using it in several different cameras. It is fast enough to shoot video without a problem, and it is much faster than my standard Sandisk SD cards. There are faster cards out there, but nowhere near this price. Highly recommended.
5 Stars Great value
Great price for a 16gb card. I’ve had no issues with it at all. Files transfer from it very quickly using an SDHC reader!
5 Stars Works Great
I’m using this with my Canon Vixia HF10, and it works great. No problems whatsoever.
5 Stars thanks amazon
reliable disk. amazon has the best price. I checked on the other sites price is 2X to 4X than what I got from Amazon. Functions well with my Panasonic SDR H60 videovcam.

Kingston CF 8GB S2 8GB Elite Pro CompactFlash Card 133x

Imaging pros expect a lot from their equipment and can’t afford to have a component limit their productivity or creativity. That’s where Kingston’s CompactFlash Elite Pro memory cards come in. The newly redesigned Kingston CompactFlash Elite Pro offers a minimum sustained write speed of 133X. The Elite Pro is designed specifically to help advanced amateur or professional photographers get the best performance from their high-end imaging devices and applications. No matter how fast you work, CF Elite Pro can keep pace. With its ultra-fast transfer rates of 25MB/sec. read and 20MB/sec. write, and great capacity, you can capture more continuous, high-resolution images in less time with the Elite Pro than with traditional CompactFlash memory cards. And when it’s time to transfer your largest files, watch them fly your production workflow will be more efficient than ever.

4 Stars Works Great.
Not much to review here. It is an 8GB card that I use in a Olympus E-3. Works fine.. faster than the cheap stuff, slower than udma cards.
1 Star Buy Transcend
Using in my Olympus E-510 I get 9 shots continuous in RAW with the Transcend and Kingston only gives me 7. The specs are the same and Transcend card is cheaper.
5 Stars 8GB Flash Review
Card works great in my Sony A200k camera. Was concerned about write performance, but it has not been an issue. Camera has beeen very fast. Flash card does not appear to be a bottleneck at all. Good deal on this CF card for 8GB. Better bargain than SAN Disk.
3 Stars Too slow for me
This memory card takes quite awhile to save pics from my Canon XTi. My SanDisk Ultra seems much faster. It has locked up on me once while it was saving pics. I had to pull out the memory card because it wouldn’t let my camera turn off since it said it was still trying to save a photo.

First, understand that I am giving this product 3 stars because ‘Technically’ it works fine, and does the job that it is intended to do: Store Data. I have shot and downloaded over 10,000 images with the card, and have had NO problems or loss of data.
Here is what you need to know, though, if you are doing photography: This card is SLOW. And I mean, SLOW.
I am shooting a Canon 40D. I also have a Lexar 4GB 133x with technically the same stats. I have never had a problem with that card keeping up with my shooting.
With this Kingston card, I found that in Program mode, I could take only one pic every…oh, say 5-10 seconds. That was with it set to continues shooting mode. That is obviously unacceptable. Now, when I put the camera in the preprogramed ‘Sports’ mode, I was able to shoot (obviously) 70 shots very quickly…since that is the built in memory buffer of the camera. At that point, though, the camera couldn’t take anymore pictures until they were written to the card…which took…well…5-10 minutes. Now, as they write you can shoot more…but only at the rate of about one every 10 seconds or more.
SOOOO…. Do I think this product is good? It’s fine if you are just shooting grab shot of family and things like that. But if you are doing any sports (I shoot youth Soccer and Football games), you will be very frustrated with this card. If that is what you are looking for…go to the Lexar. If one pic every 10 seconds if fine, you will LOVE this card and the price!
Hope this was helpful!!!
